TheLike@SilverLakeJubilee2010

LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 23, 2010: The Like headlines the second night of Silver Lake Jubilee 2010 on the heels of recording their second full-length album due out this June 15th entitled Release Me with producer Mark Ronson. They are currently off on a North American tour with The Futureheads and are set to play their first UK show in three years. Their new sound is quite a departure from their debut effort written when they were in their teens as a three-piece, leaving the jangly chorus, adolescent heartache, and a founding bassist behind in favor of a reverb-laden, '60s inspired, "if-The Supremes-fronted-The Animals" sound, picking up a new bassist and an organist along the way.

LOS ANGELES, CA - AUGUST 22, 2009: Jenny Lewis makes a surprise appearance joining Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band for an alt-country version of "Portions For Foxes" on the first day of the 29th Annual Sunset Junction Street Festival. As friends and collaborators, seeing them together on stage wasn't unexpected. But their performance did cap off a wonderful day of music.
